The London Walks Podcast Episode 7: Political London (Part 1)
Monday Mar 17, 2014
Monday Mar 17, 2014
This month the London Walks Podcast turns its focus on Westminster and political London. Andy and Adam take a wander among the statues in Parliament Square and we hear from Kim who leads the Political London Walk. A House of Commons insider, Kim's Political London Walk always takes place just after an election – which means that the content and the route are only decided at the last minute. Kim gives us a few insights into her process.
Part Two will follow soon.
In the meantime our London Walks blog, The Daily Constitutional, is running with a political theme to tie in with our podcast. We've got a print-out-and-play Political London Trump Card Game to collect and a copy of The Labour Party Dictionary of Quotations (Biteback £12.99) to give away in our Political London competition.
And we're also asking: who deserves a statue in Parliament Square? Make your suggestions at The Daily Constitutional or drop us a line at londonwalksblog@gmail.com or get in touch via Twitter @londonwalks.
